This table is solid black walnut from Warren County, Pennsylvania. A 2.5 inch thick slab tops this commanding table, with a 1 inch shelf below. The legs are made from a crotch in the tree, where one branch split divided into two. The curved portions of the crotch face inward, leaving the complex grain exposed on either end of the table.
